Trust comes from the evidence.

A Clearstake verdict is a defined check result—not a promise that gambling is safe, that a casino will always pay, or that you are eligible to play.

What we actually check

The first search needs only a casino name or exact website. We query every connected official authority automatically, without asking you to select a region. Great Britain checks the same UKGC account for the exact active domain and an Active Current Remote Casino licence. New Jersey checks the exact hostname on DGE’s current authorised Internet Gaming Sites page. Brief caching retains the actual source-retrieval time rather than pretending every source is newly fetched.

These are different scopes. A New Jersey site-list match is not a company licence check. A found record names its actual jurisdiction; it is not permission everywhere you live or travel. Area coverage shows the authorities checked and the areas not connected. No visitor location is guessed, and review sentiment never overrides authority evidence.

Yes, No, and Unable to verify

Yes means every mandatory check in the explicitly displayed scope has sufficient, unexpired evidence. It is not an endorsement and is not a complete audit of an operator’s conduct.

No requires a documented, applicable critical failure under a released policy. Missing data from our limited dataset is not that failure. The beta does not issue negative accusations from snapshot absence.

Unable to verify means evidence is missing, expired, ambiguous, conflicting, unavailable, or outside our current scope. An outage does not fail a casino. A foreign licence does not establish local permission.

Exact websites, not familiar logos

The brand, domain, operator, licence activity, and selected market are separate facts. The same brand may use different legal entities and domains. Approval for nj.bet365.com is not inherited by bet365.com or another subdomain.

A brand search can return more than one candidate. You choose the exact website. We do not silently infer an operator from search rank, popularity, or AI output. For an exact website, a separate passive check may retrieve a bounded set of public pages. Addresses and redirects are checked to block private networks. Scripts, accounts, deposits and withdrawals are not executed or tested.

What the website itself shows

A separate passive website check records accessible page URLs, capture times and content fingerprints. It looks for operator and licence declarations, public withdrawal information, complaint routes and specific wording about extra payments to release funds. A declaration is a website claim—not a verified licence.

Not observed means the information was not established in the retrieved public pages. A login wall, script-only page, bot block or outage is a limitation, not proof of fraud. HTTPS, private registration, domain age, impressive bonuses or an attractive design are not trust scores. We do not create accounts or test payouts.

Exact-domain security-publisher warnings can provide useful dated context. They are distinguished from our own observations, player allegations and official findings. A licence match cannot erase an independently documented concern.

Player reviews remain supplementary

Reviews can highlight questions about withdrawals, identity verification, bonuses, and customer service. They cannot replace authority records or prove how frequently an issue occurs. Player allegations, operator responses, platform mediation, and authority findings must be labelled separately.

The live review adapter uses licensed provider access only. Until that connection is enabled, the report says so and links to the original platform. No fabricated testimonials, review-count claims, or made-up scores fill the gap. A small recent-review sample is explicitly not representative.

New does not mean untrustworthy

We do not penalise a new operator merely for being young, having few reviews, private domain registration, limited social profiles, or incomplete optional SEO. Domain age, brand age, and operator experience are not interchangeable.

Website maturity stays separate from authenticity. A missing meta description cannot fail a verified licence check. An attractive interface cannot compensate for a documented identity or licensing failure.

Freshness, corrections, and accountability

Live source lookups use a brief cache; stored positive evidence has an explicit six-hour freshness window. The initial 20 October 2026 snapshot reports retain their original 24-hour rule. An expiry window is a product rule, not a guarantee that a source cannot change sooner. Expired positives cease to be presented as current verification.

Use Check again to retrieve current evidence into a new report. Historical reports are never silently rewritten. Separate caution signals, including dated secondary-publisher notices or public-DNS availability problems, retain their own source times and do not manufacture a licensing failure. Correction materials remain private.
